Fariborz Boor Boor is the company’s co-founder and serves as its President and Chief Executive officer. He is a visionary business leader with 30 years of experience in all aspects of business creation, growth, and management with both private and public businesses. Prior to joining Exos, Fariborz co-founded Enova Medical Technologies and served as its Chief Executive Officer until 2008. Fariborz was the President and CEO of VisiLED, Inc., a privately held medical device company from 2004 – 2006. Prior to Visiled, he served as the Executive Vice President of Synovis Life Technologies, a publicly held medical device company, and held the position as the President and Chief Operating Officer of Synovis Interventional Solutions. Fariborz holds a B.S. degree in Chemistry and Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire.


Roger W. Heegaard is a co-founder and CEO of Enova Medical Technologies. From 2004 – 2006, Roger was the founder and CEO of MedTreo, LLC a start-up medical device company developing proprietary medical devices. Prior to MedTreo, Roger was CEO and Publisher of HomeStyles Publishing and Marketing, Inc. (1988 – 2002). Under his leadership, the company’s revenue grew from $700,000 to over $16 M. The company was involved in multiple acquisitions and was sold in 2002 to Homestore, Inc. ( MOVE, Nasdaq). Roger brings us executive leadership and management experience with specific competence in business development, marketing and sales, and e-commerce sales and distribution. Roger has a B.A. degree in theology from St. Olaf College (1977), a B.A. degree in English from University of Minnesota (1978), a M.A. degree in teaching/education from the University of St. Thomas (1980), and a J.D. law degree from the University of Minnesota (1985). He is on the board of trustees at United Theological Seminary and the Pangea World Theater.


Mark Joseph is the company’s co-founder and serves as its Chief Technology Officer. As the inventor of the technology and the designer of the company’s products, he is committed to further developing the company’s product portfolio. Mark designed and licensed his first product, a backpacking tent, in 1977 at the age of 21 in Berkeley, California. Mark holds or is named in 20 patents and has developed hundreds of individual products licensed to a wide array of companies. In the mid 90s, Mark started working exclusively on engineered products that brought innovation and improved customer experience to products for companies such as The North Face, Footjoy golf shoes, Redfeather snowshoes, Black Diamond mountaineering products. In 2000 he innovated and founded LitesNow, a revolutionary do-it-yourself adhesive track lighting company that sold to most of America’s leading retailers.


Jim ‘Woody’ Woodburn, MD, MS is the President of Woodburn Health Consulting LLC, based in Deephaven, MN.  Woody was Chief Medical Officer for MinuteClinic from 2005 to 2007.  In his role as Chief Medical Officer, he worked with the CEO to develop strategic plans and eventual acquisition by CVS/Caremark Inc.  Prior to joining the national expansion of MinuteClinic, Woody worked for 12 years at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Minnesota where he developed innovative employer-based health improvement programs to improve the lives of employees nationwide. He worked with Blue Cross physicians and nurses across the country as a Founder and Chairman of the Blue Cross Association Medical Management Forum.  Woody serves on the Board of Directors of Veralight (Albuquerque, NM), Exos Medical (White Bear Lake, MN) and MyHealthDirect (Milwaukee, WI).  He is a member of the Lemhi Ventures (Excelsior, MN) team as physician advisor, assisting the fund in clinical and care delivery investment decisions and management support. In addition, he is an integral part of Boundary Medical, Inc. (Eden Prairie, MN) leading strategic and operational implementations of clinical outcome measurement and management systems nationwide.  Dr. Woodburn,has been a physician since 1984.  He trained at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Medical School and has two engineering degrees in electrical and computer engineering and a Master’s degree in biomedical engineering.  He completed his medical residency and academic fellowship in Emergency Medicine at Hennepin County Medical Center in 1988.
